Concept Cars & New Vehicles:
 Among the new vehicles being exhibited at the
Auto Show are the 2008 Dodge Viper; the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR "King
of the Road" and Bullitt Mustangs. Also from Ford are the 2008 Ford
Sport Trac Adrenalin and the 2009 Flex. Infiniti is bringing the PT EX,
Jaguar the new XF, KIA the new Optima and Amanti, Lincoln Mercury is showing
the 2009 MKS, Maserati will exhibit the 2008 Gran Turismo, while Subaru
will present the all-new 2008 Impreza WRX.
Concept Cars and Prototypes will include Chrysler’s
Airflite, the Jeep Treo and Suzuki's SXBox and SXGMR.
Exotic Sports Cars from Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini,
Lotus and Maserati. |

The Extreme AutoFest:
 Imagine Media Group, LLC, a San
Diego-based producer of lifestyle events that target Gen-X/Y auto enthusiasts,
will produce the Extreme Autofest. The Extreme Autofest Automotive Lifestyle
Show, which will be located in Moscone Center's Esplanade Ballroom, is a
car show full of customized imports, domestics, luxury, and exotic vehicles.
These vehicles have tens of thousands of dollars spent on customizing them
including paint, engine performance, mobile video, navigation, and
earth-shaking car audio systems. See cars that can Drift, Drag Race, and
even Hop. Also featured are lifestyle attractions such as DJ's, dance and
musical performances. The Extreme Autofest attraction is an exciting experience
that helps satisfy auto enthusiasts' large appetite for entertainment. |

Show":
 Always wanted to be on a game show under the lights,
in front of the cameras and with a real game show host? Play the AutoTrader.com
Match It Game Show, an interactive, live game show that tests your knowledge
of cars, television, movies and racing. Each show, we’ll choose
three contestants from attendees at the Auto Show who will go head to head

Hybrid and alternative fuel vehicle exhibits:
 Toyota will present “The Highway to the Future:
Mobile Hybrid Experience. This exhibit allows show guests to experience
firsthand automotive hybrid technology with interactive exhibits and a simulated
driving experience. A mobile environment and alternative fuels museum, located
in the South Hall, the exhibit features four distinct learning areas with
Prius, Camry and Highlander hybrid vehicles on display.
Areas within the exhibit are:
Alternative Fuels: Fueling the Future identifies
the differences among alternative fuels and how they are produced.
Environment and Resources: Small Steps, Big Difference
shows guests what they can do to make a difference in the environment.
The Prius Driving Experience simulates the current
Hybrid Synergy Drive technology letting show guests interact with system
while on-screen instructions offer driving tips.
Hybrid Technology: Not All Hybrids are Created
Equal exhibit gives visitors a better understanding of the various hybrid
technology options on the market and how hybrids benefit the consumer and
the environment.
With our dependence on oil continuing to grow,
interest in alternative fuels has never been stronger. AAA of Northern California
believes we are entering a new chapter in the history of the automobile
and we want to help make sense of all the new options becoming available.
The AAA Greenlight Initiative Showcase highlights the latest in alternative
fuel technology and puts the spotlight on what we can expect to see on the
roads in the years ahead. The "AAA Greenlight Initiative Showcase”
will feature six alternative fuel vehicles. The majority of the cars will
be conversions-- 'regular' cars that the owners have converted to run on
alternative fuels like vegetable oil, natural gas and electricity. The exhibit
will also feature a plug-in hybrid that gets up to 100 mpg and a hydrogen
fuel cell vehicle. |

Classic Hot Rods:
 Dominator, which has spent the
last 19 years restoring vehicles and building the highest quality custom
hot rod race cars, will exhibit six examples of their work including:
1970 Cougar Eliminator – Mercury made only
2200 Cougar Eliminators. This is one of 253 with a 428 CJ motor. It has
undergone complete ground up restoration.
1933 Redline Roadster – A hand-built steel body which has been
highly modify to enhance the body lines for that look of today. Has a 4.64
Ford Cobra motor with super charger 560 hp at crank shaft.
1962 Chevy Impala – This car underwent a complete high performance
restoration. 6-speed transmission 483 hp, 409 a/c big brakes air ride and
leather interior
1933 Ford Sedan – This car was featured on the TLC TV series Rides
Dominator episode. A highly modified body, super charged Cadillac North
Star motor with 5-speed manual transmission.
1937 3 Window – A highly modify street rod with a computerized
LS - 1 Chevy motor, air suspension automatic transmission and all the
electronic options.
1962 Corvette – All original on the outside, but under the hood there
is a LS1 Chevy 427 inched super charge 900 hp motor, 6-speed transmission
with a modified chassis and brakes |

Race Cars:
This year’s show will include exhibits
from Infineon Raceway and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, which will both feature
races cars and racing displays. |
